Day 264- Nutrition Bite


If you normally do a lot of baking during the holidays, try cutting back a little. Making those sweet treats like Christmas cookies and candies can be hard to resist. We always want to try a little of everything we bake to test them and make sure they taste good! So try not to make as many treats or give them away to friends and family or experiment with healthier options!

I loved delivering baked Christmas goods to the neighbors before I started this sugar shun blog. This year, I am giving the neighbors homemade jam. My favorite Christmas treat is Jack's homemade salsa. He delivers our family a pint of salsa every Christmas and it is eaten within a few hours. We can be more creative like Jack and deliver healthier foods to our neighbors, friends, and family.
