Day 191- Nutrition Bite

"Americans consume large quantities of oil--a refined food, processed at high temperatures. When oils are subject to heat, the chemical structure of the essential fatty acids are changed to toxic derivatives known as lipid peroxides and other toxic and potential cancer causing by-products."

Sugar Preacher's Experience
After reading this study, I decided I needed to start stir-frying with water. Today, I experimented with a scrambled tofu stir-fry and it turned out well to my surprise. The seasoning definitely helped with flavor. I missed the greasy oil, but the health benefits outweigh the taste.
