Day 178- Nutrition Bite

A study from the University of Wales shows that people who eat complex carbohydrates for breakfast have better memories than those who eat low-caliber carbohydrates. Complex carbohydrates might include oatmeal, multigrain bread, and high fiber cereals. Low-caliber carbohydrates are donuts, pastries, and sugar cereals. Start your morning with a bowl of high fiber cereal!!

Sugar Preacher's Experience
The other day, I made a high fiber porridge in my slow cooker. The cereal was very tasty especially with a dash of cinnamon. If you are interested in the the recipe, click on recipes and scroll to Slow-Cooker Whole Grain Porridge. In regards to the nutritional bite, my students who eat a healthy breakfast are more alert in the classroom, so feed your kids and yourself a healthy breakfast!!
