Day 171- Nutrition Bite

Eating Healthy at Parties-- Party platters can be torture devices. When invited to a party, you can mention in advance that you have changed your diet and would like to bring something. Your host will be less overwhelmed, and some guests may appreciate healthier options. A few ideas are a bowl of fruit, low-fat guacamole or hummus with crackers. Remember to give your host advance notice.

Sugar Preacher’s Experience

The second day of a recent conference offered healthier options. Healthy pesto and mozzarella sandwhiches were offered. I asked the conference planners about the possibility of serving fruit at the dessert bar. The next day, a box of oranges was offered on the dessert table. Party and event planners just need some prior suggestions in order to provide healthier selections.
