Day 170- Nutrition Bite

Eating Healthy at Parties... Don’t attend a party hungry. If you are full and the only options are desserts, saying no will be easier. When an overzealous host offers you desserts and you have something else in your hand, you’ll find the host will leave you alone. The main point is go to a party with a full stomach, and you are less likely to eat junk food.

Last weekend I attended a conference, and the healthy refreshments were minimal. The first night, the only refreshment selection was a dessert bar. I was very tempted to eat a chocolate truffle, especially after arriving late on an empty stomach. However, I did decline the dessert and drank water. The water was satisfying for a few hours.
